Incoming Power:

OPERATING ON 110-120vac
OPERATING ON 220-240vac 3 Wire
OPERATING ON 220-240vac 4 Wire
If you are using 110-120vac
Connect White to Neutral AND L2
Connect Ground to Ground
Connect Black to L1

If you are using 220-240vac with 3 wires (Hot+Hot+Ground)
Connect a "jumper" between N and L2
Connect Ground to Ground
Connect Hot (red) to L2 (will piggyback with jumper from N)
Connect Hot (black) to L1

If you are using 220-240vac with 4 wires (Hot+Hot+White+Ground)
Connect White to N.
Connect Ground to G
Connect Hot (red) to L2
Connect Hot (black) to L1

Notes:
You MUST connect the onboard transformer to
115v socket to operate on 115v.
You will have a jumper between N and L2.

You MUST connect the onboard transformer to 230v socket.
You will have a jumper between N and L2.

You MUST connect the onboard transformer to the 230v socket.
NO jumpers are necessary.

What this does:
All components operate on 110-120v except mood light
which is standard 12vac. When pump is on HIGH the heater
will turn off due to low voltage line.

All components are 230v except the mood light which is standard 12vac.
Components can be EITHER 115v or 230v. The determining factor is where the
WHITE wire from that component connects to the incoming terminal. ANY
component white wire connected to N (neutral) will be 115v. Any component
connected to L2 will be 230v. Exception is mood light which is standard 12vac.

How to Set Voltage to EACH Component:
The determining factor of WHAT voltage will be applied to components is where the WHITE wire for that socket is placed on the incoming terminal block. White wires going to N (neutral) will be 110-120vac when you either are operating on 115vac incoming power OR 4 wire incoming power (see above).
N= Neutral. All WHITE component wires connected to this terminal will receive 115v UNLESS you are operating on 3 wire/230v incoming power. If you are operating on 115v only or 4 wire 230v power to this terminal will be 115v.

L2=Line 2. Components requiring 220-240v will have their WHITE wire connected to this terminal.

L1=Line 1. NO WHITE WIRES EVER connect to L1.

Ground: The green or copper wire coming from your home is ground and connects directly to the box..

How to Determine Transformer Install:

The transformer on the C5 is a Dual Voltage Transformer.
Simply plug the 115v or 230v to match you incoming power.
