This is a generic overlay for either OEM Black JWB controls or Generic.
COMMON problem is trying to pull off existing knob can EASILY break the control.
If you want only to replace the overlay the best solution we know is to cut the new overlay to the large circle and slide the new overlay under the old knob. Do NOT try to remove the knob. In most cases there is enough space to allow both the removal of old overlay and the installation of the new.

Topsides typically do not interfere with spa operation. If you lose the ability to push one button and do not get the action it calls for, you normally have to replace the topside. Also, if you see the button is cracking, water behind the digital display, or if you have to punch the button a couple of times, all indicates a failed topside.

All these topsides come with cord and phone type jack. To remove the old topside you wrap a flat blade screwdriver and slide in between the topside and spa shell. Twist the screwdriver and the topside should pop off.

Only replace topsides with main hot tub power off.

These topsides use a "piezo" button. When you press down on a button it creates a low charge that travels down the cord and tells the pcboard to move to the next step. Failure of the piezo can also be the cause of failure.
